New Computer Setup Details Maryland Computer Repairs "New Computer Setup Package" includes the following. * Pre Purchase assistance - When you contact us and make an appointment for a New Computer Setup service we will provide you with a free consultation. During this time we will discuss what you will be using the computer for, previous experience with computers, where the computer is going, budget for a new computer, and several other topics. We will then make suggestions as to what we recommend you look for. This could save you time and money, and will help to ensure that you don't buy more than you need. For a small additional fee we will go with when you go to purchase your system. We can also custom build a system to your exact specifications. Call us for details. * We will setup a new, never before used computer system in your home or business. This system must only have the factory installed software, operating system, and hardware installed. This service is not intended for previously existing systems. Please contact us for a free consultation if you have needs other than this. * We will establish an internet connection to 1 Internet Provider of your choice. This applies to Service Providers that can be set up at the time of the "New Computer Setup". If you wish to setup a DSL or Comcast Cable connection you should contact the Service Provider and make arrangements ahead of time to have this service active, and have all equipment available at the time of the "New Computer Setup". Maryland Computer Repair may not be able to establish an internet connection if the service has not been subscribed to, and equipment is not available at the time of the New Computer Setup. * We will establish a connection to 1 printer. The customer is responsible for making sure that the printer is compatible with the computer. Please contact us prior to making the purchase of the computer and/or printer if you would like a free consultation. Maryland Computer Repair will not be able to establish the printer connection if the computer and printer are not compatible. * This service is only available for legally licensed Windows XP (Home or Professional), or Windows 2000 systems. Please contact us if you have needs other than this. * Additional Software Setup - We will install and configure additional software titles at your request. Software must be provided by you and be fully licensed by you. We can provide basic training on most software titles. We may not be able to provide training on certain software titles that we are not familiar with. You must notify us prior to the New Software Setup appointment if you wish to have us install additional software titles. * Training - We will provide training on complete operation of your new computer. If you have other questions or topics you would like training / assistance with please let us know while we are setting up your appointment. There may be certain advanced topics that we can not provide training on due to us not being familiar with them. We will make every effort to find you the information you need if we can not personally assist you with a topic. * This "New Computer Setup" package covers up to 2 hours of setup and training time. Additional time can be purchased at the rate of $4o.00 per hour (this rate is only good for time spent during the "New Computer Setup" appointment. This package includes 1 trip to your location.
